About Me
- Name: Catherine Simons
- Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
I am an undergrad at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I fell in love with Africa during a year-long stay in Zambia right out of high school. Check out the documented first few months of that experience at "Catherine's African Adventure". Returning to the States and starting college, I couldn't quite get into the swing of things. Something was definitely missing for me. I've finally returned to the continent but this time to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. "Maisha Yangu Hapa-My Life Here" will be my best effort at regularly documenting these upcoming months. "Utafiti ya Maji-Water Research" is a blog strictly pertaining to my work while here.
